We are seeking an experienced IT Financial Coordinator to join our team at Alta Equipment Group, a leader in the material handling and construction equipment industries. This role will manage our IT vendor relationships, ensuring Alta and our vendors are in good standing. They will oversee departmental finances and help maintain a running budget to ensure Alta's IT initiatives are in alignment with the rest of the business as well as work with Alta's accounting team to coordinate invoice payments. This position will be required to adapt and overcome roadblocks found during the acquisition of new companies and take the lead in migrating existing accounts and contracts to Alta. The primary responsibilities of this role consist of, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:



  • Acquisition Integration: Work with incoming acquisition finance departments to inventory and transfer IT accounts into Alta's name, establish new IT points of contact with vendors and terminate or coordinate new billing as needed.
  • IT Vendor Coordination: Maintain an inventory of IT Vendors and coordinate with IT Directors to identify and track vendor spend.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor the IT department's budget. Handle invoicing processing, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee IT contracts, tracking end dates and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure proper renewals.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing strategies to optimize IT financial performance and vendor relationships.
  • Business Collaboration: Work closely with the IT department, finance team, and other stakeholders to align IT and financial strategies with company objectives.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the IT sector
  • Strong understanding of IT vendor management, financial principles, and contract administration
  • Experience in managing financial aspects of IT, including budgeting and invoicing.
  • Excellent communication, and project management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams for file management and communication.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI for reporting and Power Automate for business processes.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to multitask.


Physical Demands/Work Environment:



  • Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands, sit, talk/hear; Occasionally will stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Vision: Close vision, ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift and/or Move Functions: Occasionally will lift up to 25 pounds
  • Work Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts
