About the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The Woodruff School graduates high caliber mechanical engineers for a demanding profession. Mechanical engineers are the foundation of today's technological world. Job Summary

Dr. Fan Zhang's Lab is hiring a postdoc for Machine learning and cybersecurity research at George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Tech. The successful candidate will be engaged in a number of projects focused on Machine learning and cybersecurity for nuclear power plants including advanced reactors as well as other industrial control systems for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct innovative research on machine learning and cybersecurity research.
  • Write and publish papers.
  • Present in conferences.
  • Assist in writing reports for project, and proposals.
  • Working with undergraduate and graduate students in the lab.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

A doctoral degree in engineering or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

A doctoral degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or a closely related field.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Experiences in machine learning, statistical models, AI, cyber physical systems, and/or cybersecurity.
