Job Title Sr. FP&A Manager - Global Occupier Services
Job Description Summary Responsible for supporting the Global Occupier Services (GOS) CFO and Sr. Director of FP&A in all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate is a commercial partner and trusted financial advisor to a variety of stakeholders across the GOS business. Responsible for development of the annual GOS plan across all regions and service lines. Responsible for producing and analyzing financial data for the business, including variance analysis to plan and prior year. Assist in various ad hoc financial analysis, financial systems and process improvements, and special projects. Acts proactively and with accountability in a complex, global environment.
Job Description Detailed Responsibilities include:
- Ownership and enhancement of global client reporting across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
- Ownership of month end close, allocation processes, and proactive review of financial results.
- Ownership of global platform reporting, including business partnering and regular reviews with key functional stakeholders and GOS leadership.
- Ownership and administration of various incentive compensation plans
- Preparation of monthly financial analysis package, which includes explanation of Revenue and EBITDA variances to prior year and plan.
- Investigation and analysis of client variances to plan and prior year and identification of revenue and savings opportunities.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of financial dashboards in Power BI
- Provide forward-looking business support to Business Leadership to help evaluate key strategic decisions for responsible areas, including business case analysis
- Support of GOS FP&A processes including reporting, planning and forecasting.
- Support development of annual plan including partnering with finance and business stakeholders
- Support of cash flow and working capital initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes
- Responsible for maintaining effective communication within team and coordination with local office and other departments.
- Special project work as needed, through direction of Finance leadership.
- Develop presentation quality deliverables to Finance and Business leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance plus 8 plus years of related professional work experience in financial / business partnering roles (e.g. Commercial Finance / FP&A), real estate experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working in FP&A in a complex business with good exposure to executive leadership.
- Experience working in a global capacity is a plus
- Experience with Hyperion Essbase and Planning, Workday Financials, and Power BI
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Expert familiarity and use of Excel and Powerpoint is required.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain progress on multiple projects and processes.
- High degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed
- A well-organized and self-directed individual who is comfortable working in a team environment. Must be able to communicate effectively and be comfortable explaining accounting concepts to people with non-financial backgrounds. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. The candidate must be a motivated, trustworthy, detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture, and possess ability to work quickly but with accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
- Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
- May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
- Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
- Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
- Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
