Job Summary

A Junior Technical Analyst analyzes technical information and aligns it to the business strategies and procedures in meeting project goals. They monitor technical system errors and provide immediate resolutions to ensure an efficient and smooth flow of operations. They provide documented software design, development, implementation and operations expertise to the customer. This role focuses on technical requirements gathering, design documentation, and quality assurance. Handle special projects as needed, assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information. The Junior Technical Analyst is expected to grow their knowledge of the key functional areas of the application to better understand the needs of the customer and user community.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the SAFe Agile Scrum team environment with a focus on planning and delivering changes iteratively
  • Work with customers, stakeholders, and product owners to document requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Develop and deliver requirements documentation, user interface mockups, user documentation, training, and test scripts
  • Work with other team members to refine design and implementation details and peer review work products
  • Support the development, deployment, testing & quality assurance process according to the principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Provide end-user application support as needed
  • Operate effectively and independently within a large team
  • Contribute to process improvement
  • Act as a liaison and provide technical support during business process meetings and events
  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments while ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery for all work products
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic

  • US Citizenship
  • Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance
  • Must have Level 1 or higher IAT Certification (A+ CE, Security+, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP)
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Psychology (NOTE: acceptable only if degree included courses in "Human Systems Interface (HSI)" and "Human Factors Engineering (HFE)"
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficient computer skills and ability to use word processing tools, i.e. Microsoft Office

Preferred

  • Up to 3 years of experience in application of software development processes, technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking
  • Demonstrated experience with DoD C41SR, maintenance, logistics, or business systems preferred but will consider other relevant industry experience supporting complex solutions as approved by the COR
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge executing Agile software methodologies and principles
  • Demonstrated experience using reporting, design, test automation, configuration management, and/or software development collaboration tools
  • UX/UI experience or background is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills to include the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, technical staff and management across all levels
