How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:
Busy office, mainly orthopedic; hours scheduled around classes and clinicals. Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages.
- Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served.
- Under direct supervision of a registered technologist, operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality radiographs.
- Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills.
- Evaluates and positions patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety.
What We Require:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent education required. Current student in 3rd or 4th quarter of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Experience: Letter of support from Program Director.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
