Join our dynamic team as a Systems Engineer - In-space Mechanisms and become a vital contributor to support NASA as an Oceaneering Teammate on the JSC Engineering, Technology, and Science (JETS) II contract. As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in the Software Engineering & Subsystem Management section in the Engineering Department on the NASA JSC Engineering, Technology and Science II (JETS II) Contract. Duties & Responsibilities
SOME OF YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: * Conduct systems engineering and management oversight of in-space mechanisms for both the International Space Station and Commercial Crew Program. This includes subsystem management of: o Mechanism integration. * Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering support across NASA and contractor teams throughout the flight hardware development process. Qualifications
REQUIRED * Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience. PREFERRED * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer
