**Technical Product Manager / Hybrid Work Schedule (3 Days On-Site Per Week - Seattle, WA) / Initial 6 Month Contract**
**Candidates must reside in local Greater Seattle area** *Top Required Skills* * Must be local to the greater Seattle, WA area * Strong and proven Technical Product Manager and Technical Program Management experience working hand in hand with engineers * Proven experience working as a Product Owner in Data & Analytics domain delivering cloud native or adjacent platform and visualization capabilities at enterprise scale. * Tableau * Power BI * Alteryx * Experience with big data architectures, usage patterns and performance challenges on any of the public clouds - AWS, Azure or GCP. * Experience with/ knowledge of SQL, Spark, Python. * Experience in SaaS application configuration management and rollout. * MicroStrategy experience *Job Description* * The company utilizes cloud native platforms, services and tools for storing, curating, sharing and visualizing business critical data and insights across the enterprise. * This platform and related tools and services are used by numerous Data and Analytics teams across the company to inform and impact their business verticals. * This position contributes to the company success by assuming end to end responsibility for the strategic value, roadmap and evolution of the analytics tools and related services, to not only meet the needs of the stakeholders but stay ahead of the curve by aligning industry trends and technology innovations with company business objectives. * This role will recognize and articulate business problems or opportunities, define target metrics, and create well-formed epics or user stories for engineering teams, who can then design, build, release, and monitor technical solutions efficiently. * A person who works hand in hand with engineers to drive prioritization, will not be heavily into adjusting the tools and migrations, but must be familiar with the tools. * More of a technical program manager, focusing on coordination of the development work, act as a bridge between customers and engineers. Must be familiar with MicroStrategy. *Team culture/work environment*: * Fast paced technical team * 15 team members * Owning platforms that are critical within development * Cross functional working environment * Support of the analytics support team within the company. * Ability to be transparent, connect regularly with the team, acting inclusively, work efficiently *Key projects*: * Support the tools and features * Very large project including Tableau and moving it to cloud based server *Daily Responsibilities*: * Manage product planning and execution through day-to-day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including architects, engineers, and business or subject matter experts. * Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to align with business priority and technology strategy by articulating the business challenges as technical user stories. * Build and evangelize product roadmaps broadly to various levels of leadership. * Drive technical solution for large features/technically complex features independently. * Create functional and technical specifications to ensure engineering team has needed information on requirements and definition of done. * Define product performance and effectiveness metrics that measure and benchmark product success and adoption. * Help resolve technical blocking issues and coordinates solutions across multiple technical teams. * Identify technical tradeoffs, escalates risks, and manages mitigation in collaboration with neighbor teams. * Communicate effectively with technology and business teams independently. * Act as a coach/mentor to team on various technical product manager competencies *Candidate Requirements* * Expertise in working with enterprise analytics tools, in particular Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field * 5+ years of industry experience in a technology environment with a record of successfully delivering complex products. * 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing technical roadmaps, story outlines, writing user stories, refining product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, agile delivery environment * 3+ years' experience working as a Product Owner in Data & Analytics domain delivering cloud native or adjacent platform and visualization capabilities at enterprise scale. * Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of all facets of systems development lifecycle and technology operations. * Strong knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies and tools. * Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to quickly master new systems and/or processes, capacity to stay organized while managing competing priorities. * Results oriented leader who leverages data to define and justify product decisions. * Able to work with ambiguity, act proactively, and is receptive to input from other team members and managers. * Experience owning processes and skillsets * Must be able to drive and support the prioritization We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
