We are looking for talented and self-starting in-office sales professionals to join our client's team of Portfolio Advisors in the Greater Memphis Area. The Portfolio Advisor is responsible for engaging prospective clients in purchasing turnkey real estate investment properties. This role involves guiding clients and potential clients through the real estate investment process, from initial consultation to purchase. A successful candidate will have recent, demonstrable sales success and/or phone sales experience. They will possess strong sales skills, phone skills, knowledge of question-based selling, the ability to navigate the ever-changing market landscape, and the ability to build trust and lasting relationships with investors. High people skills are a must, along with a quick ability to learn and adapt.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Connect with potential clients interested in turnkey investment properties provided by the company.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships provided by the company to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct in-person, phone, or video consultations to understand clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Work with clients to develop and implement profitable real estate investment strategies that align with the company's product offerings.
  1. Client Education & Support
  • Sell clients on the benefits afforded by building a portfolio with our company.
  • Guide clients, ensuring they are well-informed and confident in their investment decisions.
  • Connect with all clients and potential clients monthly or quarterly, depending on the next steps.
  • Use real estate social site BiggerPockets.com daily to promote and build brand and status as an industry expert.
  1. Company collaboration and support
  • Diligently learn company history and culture.
  • Work with the closing team, renovation team, and customer service team using technology resources and inter-personal communication to build trust and accountability.
  • Continually seek resources and opportunities to improve sales and service abilities.


Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and handle multiple clients and transactions simultaneously.
  • Financial analysis and investment modeling skills
  • A real estate license is required either at time of hire or within 90 days.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
