Job Summary Oversees the operations and maintenance of the Performing Arts Center (PAC), the Black Box theater, the Box Office, the Scene Shop, and the outdoor PAC Courtyard. Coordinates overall lighting and sound tech needs for the PAC and related venues. Provides tech work required for PAC productions including setting up the tech equipment, and collaborating with the faculty on their vision for productions. Ensures tech support is provided for all events occurring in the PAC. Troubleshoots and arranges maintenance and repair of theatrical equipment and making recommendations regarding technology used by the department. May assist in the installation of new technology. Provides work direction and assists Performing Arts part-time employees. Identifies, trains, and schedules new part-time employees. Will work in conjunction with the scene shop staff as needed. Essential Functions 20% - Coordinates the overall technical needs for lighting, sound, and equipment for the Performing Arts Center (PAC) and related venues 20% - Provide technical support for productions, including setting up and operating equipment in collaboration with faculty and event organizers 15% - Oversees the daily operations and maintenance of the PAC, Black Box theater, Box Office, Scene Shop, and outdoor PAC Courtyard 15% - Troubleshoot, arrange maintenance, and manage repairs of theatrical and shop equipment, while recommending technology upgrades 10% - Assist with the installation of new technology and equipment 10% - Provide work direction, training, and support to part-time employees and student staff 10% - Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or directly related field and two years of related program management experience preferably in an educational setting. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
