The anticipated salary range for this role is between $142,000.00and $196,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The Project Manager (UNIX Production Support) Team Lead is a part of the Treasury & HOMIS Team within JRIA. This role manages the team of FOX/OBS Infrastructure Project Manages and Production Support Staff to maximize the efficiency of the team by coordinating works within the team. Role Objectives
The Project Manager Team Lead organizes coordinates the work requires for infrastructure related projects as well as production support handling for FOX, OBS applications that interface with various internal/external applications in NA/EMEA and the Tokyo Head Office. FOX is FX (Spot, Forward, Option and Swap) trading/booking system for internal bank staff. SMBC staff operates OBS to book Money, CD, CP, Time Deposit, Facility, Security Trade, Security Inventory, Derivative, Repo, Reverse Repo and Collateral. While the servers are located in NJ/NY, each application is developed and maintained by the Tokyo application support teams. Daily deliverables include end-to-end project management, troubleshooting of user and production issues and on-going application maintenance activities. Acts as a technical expert who works cross-functionally on multi-disciplinary projects within area of expertise. Reports to the Head of JRIA Treasury & HOMIS. Role Objectives: Interpersonal
As a Team Lead: *Oversees the tasks in infrastructure projects and production support matters in FOX & OBS, and coordinates the resource required to complete them. As a Project Manager: *Understand overall system architectures of the applications, and work with network, middleware, production support teams in JRIA to complete projects as well as troubleshoot production issues. As a UNIX Production Support: *Assist UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX) system administrators and Tokyo Development Teams to troubleshoot production issues related to hardware, network, operating systems etc. Qualifications and Skills
*Business fluency in Japanese as well as English The role requires work outside regular business hours including weekend. Must be able to join the on call roster to provide weekend and night support for production support and implementation. Additional Requirements
