KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Legal Operations and Transformation Services for our Tax Practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Help execute process and strategy improvements related to legal operations projects; support progress against project milestones to help ensure timely completion of project deliverables
  • Provide input into engagement decisions regarding work plan and timelines, project management, resource allocation, and career development of staff members
  • Give best practice recommendations to leadership as to how to integrate process improvement and change management activities
  • Develop and analyze metrics, performance measurements, requirements, reports / recommendations related to management, organizational structure, and policies / procedures
  • Design, develop, manage, and document processes and project plans in a complex, dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing client requirements
  • Support the selection, implementation and execution of legal technologies including Enterprise Legal Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, eBilling, Matter Management, etc

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience working in a corporate law department in a legal operations function and/or experience at a consulting firm with a focus on legal operations
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Strong understanding of Legal Operations, Legal Department and Business Operations concepts
  • Experience identifying potential business and operations risks in areas such as, legal department performance, internal control / risk assessment, transformation and change management processes; experience preparing and conducting business analysis and studies, needs assessments, requirement analysis / definition, and cost benefit analysis
  • Ability to work in and support a team environment
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future; ability to travel up to 50%
