As a Director, Market Access Operations, you will be a champion of Otsuka's culture and values, and will serve as a core member of the leadership team and as a force multiplier for leadership, enabling the organization to execute on its most critical priorities efficiently. This role involves high-level project management, stakeholder management, decision-making, and communication across departments.. You will report to the Vice President, Market Access & Channel Strategy.

This position is remote. Travel is expected 25% of the time based on business needs.

Job Description:

  • A key advisor to the Market Access Leadership team

  • Providing strategic insight and support including organization size/structure, alignment, data, analytics reporting, financial and budget reporting as well as various sensitive initiatives

  • Operational oversight

  • Cross-functional collaboration.

  • Assist in developing, tracking, and executing strategic initiatives and goals.

  • Identify roadblocks, risks, and opportunities to keep the organization on track.

  • Drive cross-functional projects that align with the company's priorities and vision.

  • Coordinate and facilitate leadership team meetings, setting agendas, and tracking follow-ups.

  • Ensure operational processes are optimized and key initiatives are progressing.

  • Prioritize tasks for the Market Access leadership team.

  • Vendor management for Market Access data tools and resources

Minimum Qualifications:

  • *Bachelor's degree is required

  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • MBA

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high level of self-awareness and maturity

  • Willingness to constructively challenge the status quo

  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft tools

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive change management

  • Superior presentation skills that drive action and strategy

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Expertise in payer markets including understanding of all major payer segments, payer operations/financial drivers and budgets, formulary access management, coverage decision processes and utilization management.

  • Experience / knowledge of working in Matrix Management Structure with Project Management, Coordination and People Management in a Team Environment

  • Strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively under conditions of uncertainty and ambiguity

  • High learning agility with strong adaptive learner capability

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize responsibilities to achieve established deadlines

  • Proficient in analytics and strong excel spreadsheet skills are a must

Minimum $160,530.00 - Maximum $240,005.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting salary for candidates hired to perform the work. Other elements may be used to determine actual salary such as the candidate's job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
