The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team and contribute to a NIH-funded study on acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) recovery. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including data analysis, study enrollment, and patient follow-up.

Responsibilities



  • Clean and analyze data from COVID-19 survivors, including descriptive statistics and basic tests of associations.
  • Assist in preparing abstracts and manuscripts for presentation and publication.
  • Enroll and obtain informed consent from Spanish-speaking acute respiratory distress syndrome survivors near the end of their hospitalization.
  • Administer study questionnaires using a web-based system, conduct physical exams and functional measurements with a physical therapist, and conduct telephone follow-up surveys.
  • Conduct outpatient clinic research follow-up visits, including repeating questionnaires, measures of physical function, and phlebotomy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, with at least three years of related experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, REDCap, and statistical software, preferably Stata.


Other Requirements



  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements.
