The Supply Chain Technician Lead is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing and delivery of supplies within the facility. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE If driving a Mercy vehicle is required, applicant must have a driving record that is insurable under Mercyhealth's insurance coverage guidelines. Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercy's HR-01 Fleet Safety Policy. Position is subject to annual driving record background checks per Mercy's HR-01 Fleet Safety Policy. The Technician must maintain a valid driver's license. Driving a Mercy vehicle is specifically required in the following departments: Janesville Distribution Center ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check Must be able to follow written/oral instructions. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills - allowing the Lead to serve as the point-person in working with internal customers in assessing their needs and the most appropriate solution. Ability to effectively use applicable MMIS system - being a super-user of the applicable MMIS system and a high-level resource for both coworkers and internal customers for all aspects of inventory management, receiving and supply-related questions. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Occupational Exposure: Category A -All partners in the specified job classification have occupational exposure. INFORMATION ACCESS Partner may access data needed to perform their job duties as directed by the Manager or Director. WORK CONTACT GROUP Supply Chain coworkers and other hospital and clinic staff. SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, and feel; Also, to speak and hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch, stand, walk, or sit. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to chest.
