~ 20Hours/week, Part-time, Day shift ~

Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PhD, PsyD) is required.

An exciting new opportunity for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist with interest, training and experience integrating behavioral health services into primary care settings. This position is located at MaineHealth Primary CareInternal Medicine and Pediatrics in Windham, a well-established practice offering complete care to adults and children.

Your role as a behavioral health clinician will include providing screening, assessments, and focused treatment to patients of the practice. Both individual and group treatments are offered. Additional functions of the role include linking patients to additional services and supports, providing curbside consultation to providers, and participating in population health activities that targets the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people. We support patients struggling with addiction and therefore knowledge of and interest in treating substance use disorders is preferred.

Your work is enhanced by being part of a medical team with solid experience in integrated work. Collaboration with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the MaineHealth system adds to the experience. Individual and peer supervisions, group supervision, psychiatry consultation and quarterly trainings are benefits of this position.

This position will be a generalistMaster's Level mental health Clinician with interest, training and/or experience integrating mental health services into the primary care setting. This position will be placed in primary care practices, work with adults, families and children; and provide assessment, screening, and referral services. Additionally, brief individual therapy, prevention and educational services will be provided and include collaborative work with primary care physicians and their office staff, psychiatrists and other behavioral health providers.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.

2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred, or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor by exception. Valid Driver's license required.

3. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.

5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred:Knowledge of community resources and agencies.
