Your role on the team:

The Station Manager is responsible for managing a multi-functional global transportation operation, and overseeing the Operations, Accounting, Sales, Business Development and Human Resources functions of a freight station.

The points below highlight the Manager Station-INTL duties:

* Manages P&Ls against budget and all accounting associated with station

* Reviews AR/AP reports and resolves discrepancies

* Reviews various other reports daily ensuring timely billing and movement of cargo

* Maintains positive vendor relationships through timely payment of vendor's invoices

* Monitors expenses, and reduces unnecessary spending

* Maintains an international inbound and outbound transportation program Communicates with agents to ensure timely movement of cargo

* Maintains high compliance standards for Customs Brokerage by keeping abreast of new regulations affecting customers, ensuring requests from Customs are handled timely fashion, and through research classifications for clients, as well as reviewing the accuracy of POAs

What projects will you work on in this role?

* You will train and motivate employees by providing employees with information regarding new regulations as it pertains to their jobs, offering guidance and assistance to direct reports.

What you need: (requirements)

* Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university

* Minimum 5 years' experience in international logistics (freight forwarding and customs brokerage experience optimal); or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Minimum 3 years' experience managing a station in the Global Transportation industry

* Customs Brokerage License preferred
