CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our Power & Manufacturing - Asset Management Team at our office in Colonie, NY; Hartford, CT; Norwell, MA; or working from home.

The Data Analyst assists in migrating, managing and analyzing data in support of asset management activities for electric utility clients. Tasks may include gathering data in a variety of formats form a diverse range of sources, developing queries to assist in data cleanup and standardization, entering and importing data into existing systems, providing data quality control, and analyzing data and preparing report outputs as needed. The Data Analyst will engage in a variety of projects as needed to meet client requirements while collaborating with project managers, clients, and colleagues.

REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Information Technology environment performing data migration and management tasks
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Visual Basic .Net.; and web development technologies such as XHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Python
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as VBScript, SQL, and DAX
  • Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server
  • Experience programming with Microsoft Access, Excel, and/or SQL Server data sets
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, Access, or other database report writing tools
  • Experience programming with Adobe Acrobat a plus
  • Familiarity with Data Analytic tools such as PowerBI, and Tableau a plus
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision or BST Enterprise systems a plus
  • Mathematical skills and a general knowledge of Financial Accounting principles a plus
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment, as well as the ability to work independently when needed
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with electric distribution systems and data a plus


SALARY RANGE:

$28.36 - $35.09

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
