JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, managing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and fostering strategic partnerships essential in achieving Everus' long-term objectives. Works closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that enhance the Everus' market position and financial performance.

Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, accounting or related field; and
  • Five plus years' experience in business or public accounting


      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


      • Completes projects, reports, and data requests for corporate development activities within established timeframes and short deadlines.
      • Evaluates opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and oversees M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration.
      • Manages acquisition due diligence teams including scheduling, logistics, diligence review, board book preparation and negotiation and closing documentation.
      • Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk.
      • Creates business valuation financial models, performs economic research of targeted growth industries, companies, and selected market areas in which the company chooses to operate.
      • Develops financial models used to estimate cash flow and the potential for profitability.
      • Maintains a constant search for acquisitions, alliances, and business investment opportunities consistent with achieving the company's overall goals.
      • Develops presentations for executives when requested and make presentations to executive management within the company and corporation and to prospective business partners as needed.
      • Assists operating companies as needed with their ongoing operating needs.
      • Supports the development and implementation of operational processes in order strengthen business operations.
      • Establishes and recommends key performance indicators that are consistent with company best practices that will enhance operational excellence tracking and performance.
      • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

      • Salary range $127,970 to $159,960
      • Annual short-term incentive bonus of up to 30% of eligible wages based on eligibility and company goal achievement.

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


      • Master's in business administration (MBA)
      • Professional certification (CPA) with construction business valuation experience.
      • Five plus years' experience in an organization within the construction industry.


      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


      • Travel required: Frequent (up to 50%) including in-state and out-of-state by car and/or plane with overnight stays.
      • This position is required to be on-site at Everus' corporate location in Bismarck, ND or at an Everus operating company location. Hybrid option may be considered.
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
      • Required to maintain a valid drivers license.
      • Background check, MVR and drug screen required.
