Maintenance Technician

Advantage xPO is hiring a new Maintenance Technician with at least three years of commercial experience. The candidate selected will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of the Company's line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory. Pay rate: $25 - $30 per hour + $1,500 sign-on bonus potential!

Requirements:

• High school diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc), or Specialty Floor Care (preferred).
• 3+ years of commercial experience including electrical plumbing, and carpentry.
• Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, writing, communication, mechanical, troubleshooting, time management, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, etc).
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Maintain adequate knowledge of and comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and Company safety policies at all times.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel locally.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Conduct "face-to-face" interactions and form relationships with Customers.
• Utilize multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, and other skills as needed to solve maintenance problems.
• You will be provided with a company van and tools.
