About Baxter's Cleveland, MS Facility:

Cleveland's technology and automation are cutting edge. It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles, glass IV, and various reconstitution devices. This facility has a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling, injection molding, and device assembly. Our Cleveland plant has been an integral part of Baxter for over 60 years. The work is challenging and rewarding, as Baxter offers competitive compensation and benefits. This position supports the manufacturing operations forPlastic Packing and Filling.

• Perform tests and document test results.

• Perform product sampling.

• Perform functional testing of product.

• Comply with all specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and forms that pertain to the above area.

• Perform department audits as required.

• Assist with the running of protocols.

• Review specification and SOP changes.

• Write SOPs for area of responsibility.

• Comply to plant environmental health and safety regulations.

• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.

• Associate's degree in a related discipline preferred or 0-3 years related experience.

• High School diploma/GED required.

• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds; ability to lift above the shoulder up to 20 pounds.

• Ability to reach above shoulder to perform work.

• Ability to climb on ladders.

• Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.

• Ability to bend/stoop.

• Ability to stand for long periods at a time.

• Ability to work overtime as required.

• Required to meet visual acuity requirements per Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity SOP CL-01-01-037.

• Effective oral and written communication skills are required.

• Ability to communicate with different levels within the organization.

Technical Qualifications:

• Experience working with controlled documentation and specifications a plus.

• Mathematical aptitude is required.

• Knowledge of measurement methods.

• Must be able to use weight scales.

• Ability to perform correct sampling techniques (i.e., torque, chemical, etc)

• Ability to perform SPC techniques.

• Ability to work with computer systems.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $40,000 - $48,400 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than that of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
