Mechanical Test Engineer Co-Op - Spring 2025

The Role:
Our site in Chaska is seeking a/an Mechanical Test Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
This position will include working with a team of Engineers in a laboratory setting to generate and analyze data, interpret test results and report findings. This team's focus is Entegris wafer and reticle handling products, providing data to support functional aspects such as robustness, reliability, cleanliness and meeting design intent. This is a great opportunity for a highly analytical person to show their creative problem-solving skills in a high technology industry with a growing, global company.

In this role, you will:

* Provide accurate, expedient characterization and analysis of wafer and reticle handling products and technologies using laboratory equipment
* Work with Engineers to manage test projects
* Analyzes test data, writes test reports and PowerPoint presentations
* Learn established test methods and how to use custom equipment and instruments
* Apply statistics to data analysis to provide confidence in results
* May include development of new test methods

You're a good fit if you have:

* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
* Currently enrolled in an Engineering program, 2nd year or more completed

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

* Familiarity with a statistics software (i.e. Minitab, JMP, etc.)
* Working knowledge of Solidworks modeling software
* Familiarity with laboratory and test environment(s)

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

* Mechanical Engineering
