We are searching for a talented Mover - Coordinator

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.



Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Manager, Regional Superintendent FHS, perform a variety of duties both within and in support of Facilities Health Services Regions. Take prideful ownership of work assigned by coordinating, scheduling, and participating in various moving activities while maintaining quality service commitments and strong customer service skills. This includes the careful moving of clinical equipment that needs proper removal and relocation to the new destination. Proper use of Maintenance & More system to properly maintain assigned work orders. Perform general EVS duties as needed to properly clean up after a moving task(s). Ability to perform general maintenance tasks to include proper use of basic hand and power tools to disassemble/reassemble furniture and equipment when needed and to support routine general maintenance tasks when move request volumes are low.


Qualifications

  • Equal to completion of 4 years of high school. Proficient in basic computer skills including Outlook email, MS Word/Excel, etc.
  • Training and knowledge of and skill in the use of moving techniques is also required.
  • A Massachusetts state driver's license maintained in good standing with DOT certification is required.
  • Three (3) years of moving experience or the equivalent combination of experience and training is required.
  • Massachusetts Hydraulics Class 1 certification preferred.
  • Ability to tow a trailer including being able to maneuver the trailer in reverse.
  • MA Driver's License (maintained in good standing) including DOT certification.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired


Pay Range

USD $18.54 - USD $31.20 /Hr.
