Primary Purpose of Organization Unit
DoIT partners with campus constituents to dream, design, implement, support and foster the adoption of information technology services appropriate for UNCP.
We are dedicated to continuous improvement, effective communication, and efficient management of information technology products, services, and support.
Primary Purpose of Position
This position supports the use of application systems by the UNCP campus. Duties include the support of packaged enterprise and departmental applications, the development and support of local applications and interfaces between existing systems, the integration of disparate systems, the installation and support of application layer and middleware products, and ongoing monitoring of web, application and middleware systems and interfaces. This position compliments system administrators in the Enterprise Systems and Networking units of DoIT by assisting with the installation, configuration, management and support of web, application and middleware layer products. This position assists with the development and integration of technologies used by other DoIT units. This position performs basic system administration duties as needed.
Job Description
THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION - NORTH CAROLINA BASED

This position supports the use of application systems by the UNCP campus. Duties include the support of packaged enterprise and departmental applications, the development and support of local applications and interfaces between existing systems, the integration of disparate systems, the installation and support of application layer and middleware products, and ongoing monitoring of web, application and middleware systems and interfaces. This position compliments system administrators of DoIT by assisting with the installation, configuration, management and support of web, application and middleware layer products. This position assists with the development and integration of technologies with third party solutions used across the university.
Management Preference
The person in this position should have at least one year of experience integrating an enterprise level application with a Banner ERP system.

Knowledge of Oracle PL/ SQL is required.

Experience supporting an enterprise reporting tool is important (Evisions Argos, Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, or similar), with preference given to any candidate experienced in the Argos tool.

Web based application development experience is also a plus.
