Overview:
Inventory Management Representatives will be responsible to support our vending machines at customer's locations by delivering and stocking all their PPE and MRO Consumables on a daily basis. As an IMR, you will build customer relationships and see additional product opportunities in existing programs.
CORE RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:
- Prepare, deliver (via company - owned vehicle), and restock customer orders for inventory management accounts. This will include vending machines, customer crib locations and storage lockers.
- Facilitate the resolution of customer concerns regarding inventory levels, product needs and works with appropriate sales rep to find resolution to customer needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized inventory solution at the customer's locations, including cribs, staging areas and vending solutions. Organizes inventory areas, puts material in bins and creates inventory EOQ's (minimum and maximum) baselines.
- Work with customers to build relationships and improve the inventory management locations at the customer's sites.
- Travel is required as needed. Manage all aspects of business travel in adherence to corporate travel and expense guidelines.
- Assist with the branch warehouse duties as assigned. Will need to work in the SCALE and SAP software systems and learn warehouse processes and procedures to assist fulfillment of customer orders.
- Enter sales orders as required and assist customers with their sourcing needs working with various departments.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 years or more related experience.
- Must have valid chauffer's license.
- Must have TWIC card.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience with RF scanner and inventory management software, and/or ability to learn new software quickly.
- Knowledge of industrial fasteners and MRO Products.
- Direct customer interaction and problem-solving experience is a plus. Must be detail oriented.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional demeanor and a sense of urgency in resolving customer concerns.
- Current and valid driver's license.
Pay Range: $20-$23/hr
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
