Main Duties & Responsibilities
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) manages the
day-to-day human resources activities in an Aerospace manufacturing
environment. This position reports directly to the Director, Human
Resources. The HRBP is a key member of the plant human resources team and
is a strong business partner to the HR Director assisting in talent management,
employee engagement and employee relations. The HRBP ensures that
programs, policies and procedures support the overall business objectives in
the areas of staffing, talent management, training and development, employee
relations and engagement, compensation and benefits as well as HR
administration. This role will provide support 400 employees at both the
Commerce and Mesa, AZ facilities.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities
* Partner with HR Director to
support the human resources capabilities necessary to achieve plant operations
targets
* Provide HR support to HR
Director regarding salary/ hourly recruiting and staffing, employee relations,
talent management, policy interpretation, HR compliance, training, turnover,
complaint investigation and problem solving, etc.
* Assist department heads in
addressing employee performance issues and provide support and coaching as
required
* Organize and conduct
orientation training to facilitate the proper onboarding of new hires
* Manage and communicate
Open Enrollment and Benefits Administration process
Support organizational development, workforce or succession planning, training or Performance Management as developed by corporate.
The pay scale for this position ranges from $110,000- $130,000 annually.
Qualifications
Education and Key Skills Required
* BA/BS
Degree or equivalent work experience required.
* 6+ years of Human
Resources experience with role progression responsibility in a manufacturing
plant
* Proven ability to influence
and work effectively across all levels of the organization
Strong analytical skills
with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources
* Demonstrates discretion,
able to work with sensitive and confidential materials and possess good
business judgment
* Knowledge of employment
law (such as the ADA, EEO, ERISA, FLSA, FMLA) and ability to apply legal
concepts to real world situations
* Highly organized with
strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication
skills, both written and verbal across a wide audience
* Experience with
salary/hourly recruiting, employee relations and engagement, benefits
administration, payroll, policy communication and administration, HR
compliance, etc.
* Experience in safety
management and handling workers compensation a plus and Bilingual in Spanish a must
