The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking a Senior Specialist, Rural Health. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote), and can be based in either Washington, D.C. or Chicago. Starting base salary = $76,000- $95,000- $114,000 (commensurate with related experience). The AHA is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. The Senior Specialist, Rural Health is responsible for executing the operations for the rural health portfolio. This role creates an annual work plan and schedule for rural health member touchpoints and ensures all events are executed seamlessly and actively participates in the execution of the work plan. The Senior Specialist takes ownership of projects emerging from the rural health member engagements and will act as a primary contact for a portfolio of rural members. The role also develops reports that illustrate key rural characteristics to share within the AHA. This role also supports Field Engagement in accessing member intelligence and optimizing AHA's capabilities to catalog and distribute intelligence.
