General Purpose Perform administrative activities to maintain proper support and services to the operation of the maintenance department. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with equipment manufacturers and maintenance staff on set up of preventive maintenance tasks and spare parts inventory for supported equipment
- Coordinate, track, and maintain all work orders
- Close corrective and preventive maintenance work orders upon completion and include pertinent information for equipment files
- Maintain up-to-date library of machine manuals, prints, and schematics
- Data enter procurement and inventory records by appropriate category (e.g., account, cost center, project)
- Print and/or provide corrective work orders, preventive maintenance work orders, and parts automatic orders on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis
- Generate a variety of reports for management (e.g., back-order, inventory, productivity reports)
- Assist in ordering and receiving of maintenance related parts and materials; process purchase orders
- Track maintenance spending
- Assist in the coordination of incoming contractors
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years clerical, production, or general work experience
- Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

- Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
- Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to perform task and duties without constant supervision
- Able to multi-task
- Able to take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems

- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
