Job Description

Job Summary:

Account strategy and leadership role responsible for organic growth strategy, planning and development of a book of business with $10M+ in revenue including top accounts in retail, financial, CPG, travel, manufacturing and B2B. Responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company by partnering with RRD Sales to identify new business opportunities with existing customers, leveraging strategic partnerships, and leading initiatives that enhance the company's market presence. This role requires a deep understanding of business, financials, RRD products/services, and the challenges of clients

Responsibilities:

AGENCY & ACCOUNT GROWTH:

  • Responsible for developing the account vision and annual Client Growth Plans
  • Leads and develops organic growth initiatives including Strategic Growth Plan development and process
  • Responsible for meeting established organic growth revenue targets
  • Leads quarterly check-ins and business reviews
  • Provides quarterly status updates to internal leadership team
  • Inspires the team to develop new solutions and innovative ways of working
  • Proactively looks for opportunities to sell new and additional capabilities to solve business challenges
  • Uses a high degree of judgment, discretion, and creativity to persuade customers/accounts to adopt a favorable view and decide to buy
  • Provides leadership in determining how to deliver innovative solutions
  • Leads and consults on new business pitches when assigned
  • Identifies and analyzes market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborates with senior management to define and prioritize business development initiatives.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for strategic partners
  • Owns and grows senior and executive-level client relationships
  • Seeks to build connections and relationships beyond current clients/business
  • Regularly proposes new opportunities, provides thought leadership and communicates value delivered
  • Anticipates and understands customer/account needs, feedback, and objections, and identifies and explains solutions
  • Leads communicating the client vision, client business goals and priorities, and business problems to solve to the extended team

COMMUNICATION:

  • Strong communication skills

QUALITY OF WORK:

  • Reviews key deliverables and leads storytelling/approach for strategic client meetings

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure alignment on business goals and messaging.
  • Leads development of strategic recommendations leveraging data and insights
  • Looks to leverage digital media and marketing capabilities to solve client's challenges

OVERALL:

  • Masters agency and network capabilities
  • Consults for annual scoping and contract negotiations
  • Consults on key work review and overall program planning
  • Provides thought leadership and marketing knowledge
  • Identifies and develops case studies with Marketing Team

Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Requires depth and/or breadth of sales expertise within a specialized product, service, or account type.
  • Recognized as an expert in one or more areas
  • Strong digital marketing experience required
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills in managing relationships, vision for the business and programs
  • Demonstrates experience in sales account management and profitable growth.
  • Must be able to quickly embrace change and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office software products.

Additional Information

The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $95,400 - $194,500 annually.In addition to base pay, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include [a sign-on bonus of $2,000], overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. RRD offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
