As a result, a full-time position is available for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our San Diego, CA office location (or one of our offices in: Santa Rosa,CA; Sacremento, CA; Ontario, CA; or Scottsdale, AZ).

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and provide technical guidance to mechanical project teams.
  • Manage and attend client meetings, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Oversee construction phase services with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and learning.
  • Contribute to business development efforts with innovative solutions.
  • Regular travel to military bases and airports as part of lead mechanical engineer role.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering
  • 12+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • PE license

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

  • Expertise in many mechanical system types, such as hot water, chilled water, condenser water systems, VAV, Geothermal, VRF systems, DDC control systems
  • Experience in sustainable design, steam systems, commissioning services, and plumbing systems.
  • Proven track record as a project lead.
  • Experience in designing mechanical systems for Federal Government projects.
  • Commitment to sustainable design and innovation.

Salary Range: $97,000 to $144,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
