IAS Customer Center US

SAS Business Line (Service of Industrial Assembly Solutions)

Your Role:

To lead the Atlas Copco, IAS US Customer Center Service team to achieve profitable growth, expanding the customer base while maximizing customer satisfaction. In this role, you will have direct leadership of the Field Service, Onsite Service, and Service Training teams for the SAS Business Line. Products serviced include Self-Pierce Riveting equipment (SPR), Adhesive Dispense equipment (ADH), Flow Drill Fastening equipment (FDF), Software/DDS (TN8, etc.), and Integrated Vision Systems (IVS). This position reports to the General Manager, IAS NA Customer Center, with a dotted line matrix reporting to the Vice President of Marketing SAS and the Vice President Service Operations SAS.

What you will do:



  • Develop and implement service strategies to exceed customer expectations
  • Plans and directs all aspects of the SAS business line, including service sales, Service Level Agreements (SLA) and business development
  • Develops all SAS policies, objectives, and initiatives and work within the IAS Business Line to ensure we are aligned and executing a high level of collaboration with all departments
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the local SAS service organization, including 9 direct reports and 43 indirect reports
  • Ensure technical ability in the service organization and execute where we place new service personnel/roles to better serve our customers
  • Responsible for assessing new customers as well as analyzing business opportunities for SLAs
  • Develops proposals for new business opportunities
  • Ensures the best use of the organization's resources by defining and planning SAS strategic and long-term goals
  • Develop and implement overall strategies in close cooperation with other Customer Centers and the global IAS/SAS/AIS organization
  • Develop training programs, facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives, and review current development programs to ensure adherence to IAS long-term goals
  • Actively integrate acquired product lines into the service organization
  • P&L responsibility for the US SAS business line



To succeed, you will need:



  • A four-year degree from an accredited University is required, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in sales or marketing with five years of supervisory/management experience preferred
  • Experience in leading, managing, and motivating an organization
  • Experience working within an international matrix organization with proven ability to adapt easily to different cultures
  • Ability to deliver innovation and create new standards
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization and effectively work with global teams
  • To be curious with a growth mindset, constantly learning, and always looking for a better way
  • Demonstrate a strong customer-centric approach
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to solving problems
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, transparent, and productive work environment, building trust
