The Acquisition Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing support for the organization's acquisition/procurement compliance program(s) to ensure adherence to federal and state laws, organizational policies, University System of GA policies, and federal contractual requirements. This role will work to ensure GTRI is in line with the GTRI Supply Chain Risk Management Plan. This includes providing risk assessments, tracking and resolving compliance-related concerns, interpreting legal guidance, and assisting in developing/implementing policies, procedures, and training. Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, STEM or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; Preferred Skills/Experience: Customer Service, Effective organizational skills, project management skills, organizational skills, presentation skills, written and verbal communication skills, soft skills, computer skills, critical thinking skills, time management skills, and problem solving and risk management skills, risk mitigation skills.
