Responsibilities
Conduct 24/7/365 enterprise DCO through proactive protect, detect, respond, and recover activities.
- Execute DCO activities to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats and attacks to the USSF space enterprise that may cause disruption, denial, degradation, destruction, exploitation, and unauthorized access or information theft to critical space mission system networks, subsystems and components, and data.
- Develop detailed plans for the support of a range of cyber operations through collaboration with planners, operators, analysts, and military leadership.
- Participate in targeting selection, validation, synchronization, integration, and execution of cyber activities.
- Analyze, review, and monitor strategies, doctrine, policies, and other directives to ensure compliance with mandated regulations from both the government at large and the military customer.
- Assist and advise inter-agency partners in identifying and developing standard operation procedures (SOPs) for operational support in achievement of organizational objectives.
- Develop, review, and apply specific cyber operations guidance for integration into broader planning activities.
- Responsible for providing input to stakeholders for the development and refinement of cyber operations objectives, priorities, strategies, plans and programs.
- Provide input into the administrative and logistical elements of an operational support plan.
- Assist in developing new approaches to improve organizational framework through the coordination and integration of staff processes.
- Draft and provide briefings, information/decision papers, policy documents, staffing packages, letters, memorandums, and official multimedia correspondence.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and analysts.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, operations security, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, and knowledge of national regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cyber security.
- Experience in security operations center environment.
- Experience with a variety of operating systems including Windows, Linux or UNIX in a functional capacity. `
- Ability to create and implement strategies to acquire and operationalize cyber programs required.
- Working knowledge of cyber operations theory, tactics, techniques and procedures required.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies required.
- Proven ability to develop and recommend corrective actions.
- An active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GPS, CCIC2S, SCN, AEHF, and SBIRS

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
