KeyLogic has an immediate need for a Property Administrator with experience in Federal property management. The ideal candidate will aid our Federal client with the tracking, administration, record maintenance, appraisal, and process development of Federal property at the Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Lab. The Property Administrator will aid in the creation and maintenance of property records, entering property information into databases, updating data, and tracking property. Occasional travel may be necessary to identify the disposition and confirm the location of the equipment. Support will also include the preparation of property inventory and status reports. The position will track and ensure the establishment and maintenance of property records, location tracking, deletions, determination of specifications, screening of excess property, cost, date of acquisition, person having physical custody, and accountability. Safety and health related equipment tracking will also be of importance. The ideal candidate will also seek to educate the federal and contractor staff on property management and be an ambassador in aiding staff in meeting DOE and Federal property management requirements and obligations. The property administrator will aid the federal staff in the development and implementation of government property processes and procedures. Support to property-related audits and investigations will also a key requirement to this position. Tracking and aiding federal personnel in tracking the recycling, disposal, and loss of property, will also be of importance to this position. Keeping up to date on property federal laws, rules, and regulations, as well as having an awareness of trends within related areas for professional development will also be necessary to the position.
