Bridge Design Specialist

Our New York, New York office has an extensive history delivering exciting and complex transportation projects for area clients like New York City Metro Area

Position Overview

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
• Assist in the development of project specifications.
• Responsible for development of discipline specific engineering project elements/deliverables such as reports and plans.
• Works closely with other disciplines and on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs quality control reviews of discipline - specific engineering project elements/deliverables.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Proficient in detailing and CAD (MicroStation and AutoCAD)
• Completeness and accuracy of design teamwork.
• Accountable for handling specific design aspects on projects, special emphasis on CAD production.
• Coordinate efforts of assigned design team to ensure completeness and accuracy of design effort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 2 -4 years of relevant experience
