The Office of Undergraduate Research in the Honors College at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Hybrid) Program Coordinator. About the Opportunity The mission of the Office of Undergraduate Research (UGR) is to connect undergraduate students who have strong and committed interests in research and creative work to faculty members, programs, and research-related opportunities that are aligned with their interests both on campus and off. The Research Apprenticeship Program (RAP) coordinator works in collaboration with the Director of Undergraduate Research to implement the RAP program from inception to completion and to include all programmatic aspects, such as, general programming (e.g., recruitment, advising, time card monitoring, hiring of work study students, workshops, training, curriculum, speakers, ), mentoring and meeting with students, meeting with faculty and researchers, program advertisement and application, participant tracking, search for continuation funding, and proposal writing. The program coordinator may supervise one or more graduate assistants or undergraduate students. We strongly believe in work-life balance and keeping time for things we love outside our work.
