Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Remotely with our client. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Ensure new loan applications are prepared for processing or underwriting while adhering to client standard turn times.
  • Performs a variety of duties, both clerical and technical.
  • Maintain effective communication with all necessary parties involved in a new loan application, from the customer, broker, correspondent, loan officer, and co-workers, to ensure a seamless, positive application experience.
  • Work with various internal departments as well as external organizations to obtain processing-related documentation or obtain the necessary information needed to complete an application, including, but not limited to, Verification of Employment, IRS Transcripts, Title Search, appraisal, and FHA case assignments.
  • Immediately notify all necessary parties of irregularities relative to standard mortgage guidelines.
  • Preparation and reconciliation of needed reports.
  • Monitor all incoming loan conditions via email, fax or mail.
  • Review system to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client brand.
  • Maintain the client's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • Work closely with both Internal and External Customers such as co-workers, borrower(s), Loan Officers, Brokers, or Correspondents.
  • We need an active worker who can complete mostly clerical functions in a timely manner to help alleviate current bottlenecks in production and free up processors and underwriters to handle the more critical functions of their jobs.
  • It is expected that contingent workers will be able to handle phone tasks as well as clerical functions, including filling out checklists, completing verifications of employment, and obtaining insurance, among other things.
  • Organizing and re-indexing documents that were placed into incorrect spots and making them easily accessible to those who need them.
  • Many other tasks are to be completed.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of clerical, customer service, operations, or financial services industry experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with operating computers, word processing, spreadsheet and email software programs.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Product, Investor and Compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on information provided.
  • Ability to assess documentation provided to mark received in the loan system.
  • Versatility and flexibility working within an ever-changing, fast, fast-paced mortgage environment.
  • Ability to function independently within time constraints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to take notes and learn quickly
