Job Description:

The Group Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is a part of the Technology Data and Innovation (TDI) function within Deutsche Bank. It covers key areas of cloud and platform technologies, compute, storage, databases, networks, data centers, end user computing, application centric products, automation platforms, and branch technology.

Hybrid Cloud (HC) function is part of GTI, provides engineering, product management and critical production management services for both private cloud (on-prem) and public cloud infrastructure and platforms. It covers both Run and Change the Bank functions, and covers key areas - Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Database Services, Core Products and Services including Cloud Networks, Storage, Infrastructure Security, Edge Technology Products, Messaging, Web Platforms, Enterprise Data and Analytics Platforms, Reporting Platforms, Messaging and Hybrid Cloud Applications.

Hybrid Cloud's key objectives include Technology Infrastructure and Platforms Transformation, Cloud Migration, Reducing Complexity, Improving Resiliency and ensuring a Compliant Technology Environment for the Bank.

Hybrid Service Model is a critical service function within Hybrid Cloud providing round the clock production support for Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Platforms and Applications across the Bank. This team operates from multiple locations across the Globe with a predominant footprint in India.

What You'll Do

The Hybrid Service Model Co-Lead is responsible for Technology Availability of Hybrid Cloud (both Private and Public Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure).

  • Co-head the Hybrid Service Model for the Hybrid Cloud Function, including development and execution of strategy for the global delivery function, aligning closely with the broader organizational goals.

  • Drive SRE Transformation for all IT support functions across Hybrid Cloud ensuring the teams are operating with Agile/SRE/DevSecOps best practices, delivering ongoing toil reduction and shift left processes.

  • Embed observability and telemetry tooling and best practices to ensure futuristic way of operations, ensuring high levels of reliability of systems and automation.

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the various lines of businesses and aligning delivery solutions to drive high stakeholder and developer satisfaction.

  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and innovation, and continual improvement in KPIs.

  • Collaborate across various peers and senior stakeholders including Architecture, Engineering, Product Management, Program teams and Applications teams to ensure flawless front to back delivery of services.

  • Develop a vendor partner support strategy, work closely with the service delivery partners, establish strong oversight and governance, and optimized vendor footprint, and ensuring complementing capabilities and delivery. Optimize spend, value, complexity, risk, service levels and strategy for the partnerships.

  • Manage the total cost of ownership of Hybrid Service Model, strategically plan budgets and financials across CTB and RTB costs and ensure spend is optimized for all provided IT services.

  • Drive the organization's people vision across Hybrid Service Model staff and provide the leadership to maintain and improve the employee engagement, drive retention, improve cross functional collaboration, diversity and inclusion.

How You'll Lead

  • Extensive experience in IT service delivery role, preferably with a financial services firm and demonstrated global leadership managing a large diverse and multi-cultural workforce.

  • Stakeholder Communication - Able to communicate progress, challenges, opportunities to senior leadership and other stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

  • Experience in working on both on-premises and cloud platforms and should have run IT transformation programs and Cloud Migration.

  • Should have a good understanding of Applications Delivery including CI/CD pipelines and understanding of various control requirements for application releases.

  • Expert in IT operational practices including ITSM, SRE and Agile DevOps practices.

  • Managed vendor partner relationships and contracts ensuring performance and contractual obligations are met.

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong technology background with core competence in one or more technology areas supported.

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $143,000 to $206,050.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
