Registrar - Admitting You will apply your customer service mindset and strong data entry skills, to courteously register and admit patients to receive various Salem Health medical services. Our video gives you a firsthand look at the team and environment! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-6Zr9MV3w4 Core Functions:Responsible for courteously admitting and/or registering all patients presented for treatment.Performs various tasks using Electronic Medical Record system, Epic.Verifies insurance eligibility utilizing a variety of on-line resources as well as phone verification.Follows up on Workqueues daily to correct any errors with Registrations.Responsible for providing coverage to different areas on a rotating schedule including service areas under Main, Emergency Department, Family Birth Center and West Valley.Participates in training of staff.Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
