About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Global Communications team as a Corporate Communications Manager based in Miami, FL. The Corporate Communications Manager plays a key role in crafting and distributing strategic communication materials that effectively convey the organization's priorities and drive engagement among the brand's main audiences, including employees, franchisees, and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Director, Global Corporate Communications, this role requires collaboration across all functions of the organization to develop, edit, update and distribute content.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Create, edit and distribute communication materials, including news articles, web page copy, video scripts, press releases, executive communications, presentations, speeches and award submissions.
  • Support ongoing strategic corporate communication efforts, such as development of the corporate narrative, planning and preparation ahead of executive internal and external event appearances, coordination of media events and interviews and assistance with issues and reputation management as needed.
  • Assist with internal and franchisee communications as needed.
  • Maintain and update foundational communication materials and evolve messaging on an ongoing basis, as well as ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Build an understanding of organizational priorities and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business to gather information and provide strategic guidance on content.
  • Monitor, track and report on content performance, as well as analyze content data to recommend future improvements. Stay attuned to emerging topics and various communication tools, techniques/best practices.
  • Work independently and as part of a team. Work with external consultants and agencies, as needed.



Qualifications (some examples listed below):



  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of related experience. Public relations/ communications in-house or agency experience is a plus.
  • Franchise or QSR industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written, visual and oral communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of communications, including corporate and internal communications, executive visibility and issues and reputation management.
  • Identifies and analyzes business and audience needs to deliver messages across a variety of channels.
  • Independent decision maker and critical thinker who is curious to learn and grow in the role.
  • Works well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manages and meets deadlines.
  • Collaborator who thrives in a cross-functional environment and exhibits professionalism.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail with high quality of work.
  • Understands communication metrics and analytics.
  • Leverages visual tools, e.g. infographics and images, to accompany content.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel, SharePoint) with ability to quickly learn other applications, as necessary.
  • Knowledge of AP style, and ability to adapt writing style for a variety of platforms and channels, including web and video.
