Description
The Financial Systems Manager is responsible for managing the administration of the Northwest's key financial systems including General ledger, budget/forecast system (currently Axiom), including all financial statements and statistics, while also reporting for company planning, divisional planning, profitability analysis, cost analysis, budgetary controls, management services, monitoring product performance, forecasting, and completing surveys and reports. The Financial Analyst Manager must generate interest rate risk analysis information and manage 1099 reports. The Financial Analyst Manager will be a key part of the Workday Financial implementation as well as assisting in automating manual processes.
Essential Functions * Ensure compliance with third party vendors and total document and data integrity * Manage department workload/workflow * Prepare and analyze statistics * Oversee production of various reports, various reconciliations, ledger management, statements, consolidations, and production * Complete government surveys * Oversee wire templates and large dollar amounts and preparation of annual budget statistics and financial details * Research and improve report data * Accounting representative for Business Continuity Planning * Review new Fundtech users to grant access to wire system * Review AP batches and new vendors for accuracy * Implement improvements to procedures * Develop customer service levels * Maximize technology tools available * Minimize departmental nonpayroll costs
Additional Essential Functions * Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations * Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency * Work as part of a team * Work with on-site equipment

Education Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related degree
Work Experience 8 - 12 years Accounting experience 3 - 5 years Customer Service experience

Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the successful candidate's experience, skills, and knowledge. Additional bonus earning opportunities and benefits are also available.
