Timken, a global technology leader that designs and develops engineered bearings and industrial motion products is looking to bring on an IT Analyst/Desktop Support Technician. The company is looking to bring on this resource as a contract to hire to increase their team size net new role (going from 2 to 3 techs in these locations). The role is open in Keene, New Hampshire (there is flexibility around this). This person will report to their IT Manager, who will be on site helping with training and development. The company is open to a mid or senior level experienced person, as they understand the talent pool is limited in the area. Bob, the IT Director, and Tony, the IT Manager, are very focused on an outgoing personality and good communication skills. The position requires in-person user support on site and the preferred technical skills include active directory, server management, hardware support/troubleshooting, and understanding of business processes in a manufacturing and corporate IT environment. The company is currently using Cherwell ticketing system but we are migrating to a different product to be announced at the end of the year. Server management - The position requires 100% in-person user support on site, so server management is a crucial aspect of the role. 2. Degree - Computer Science Degree or Coding Bootcamp preferred but not necessary. Open to a business degree as well. 3. Coding knowledge or experience 4. Manufacturing work environment experience 5. Vendor management 6. ITIL certification The role will involve providing in-person user support and customer service.
