Position Summary:

As Winchester's Regional Sales Manager for the Florida territory, you will be a part of a dynamic team working to change the way electronic interconnect systems are sold. What we do matters, the projects we work on and the problems we solve save lives. Every day Winchester is working to make the world a better place.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
  • Connector, cable, wire and/or harness experience is a must
  • Success in developing relationships across a broad range of customers and identifying opportunities to solve problems by leveraging Winchester's unique product portfolio
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the various product categories to create a balanced portfolio of opportunities
  • Track record connecting with engineers and effectively closing new business opportunities that result from those engagements
  • Interconnect (connectors, wires, cables, harnesses, etc.) experience, highly desired
  • Be a champion of the Winchester culture

Are You Our Next ACE?



  • Every week connect our customer's engineers with Winchester engineers to facilitate the problem-solving process
  • On a monthly basis create new business opportunities to ensure a pipeline sufficient to meet new business wins goals which have a high probability to Win
  • On an annual basis achieve the new business wins goal with opportunities balanced across the Winchester product portfolio
  • Increase cross-selling within Winchester technology divisions
  • Work with Winchester's customers, typically engineering, to solve technical problems with Winchester's technical experts. Drive Winchester product category business development teams and product category operations and customer service teams. Collaborate with Winchester's Marketing and Sales Operations teams. Identify customers who should have problems that Winchester can solve
  • Call on customers and build relationships which lead to new business opportunities
  • Travel to customers and business units as needed to achieve established sales goals
  • Define Top Target Customers and develop account penetration strategies
  • Develop/Present NBOs to selected product groups to ensure the greatest likelihood to Win
  • Build relationships with customers through face-to-face visits and/or virtual engagements
  • Manage manufacturer's reps, if any
