As the Divisional Vice President of Finance and Accounting you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the division's financial performance targets and operational efficiencies are met. This position requires a hands-on yet strategic leader with a strong background in both accounting and finance. This role will oversee the accounting/finance department staff, providing fiscal leadership and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Planning and Analysis:



  • Plan, develop, and report on the division's performance, including monthly results, forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning.
  • Drive the annual budget process, providing visibility on profitability, efficiencies, and key operational metrics.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis based on collaboration with divisional management team or through their own initiative and judgement, provide business insights that unlocking value creation opportunities.


Controllership



  • Provide oversight of local accounting and transaction processing functions and ensure compliance with US GAAP
  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity of financial statements, and overall delivery of local controllership responsibilities (Accounting, Reporting, Controls, Compliance; Accounts Payable, Credit and Accounts Receivable, and Sales/Use and Property taxes).



Strategic Partnership and Leadership:



  • Collaborate strategically with the Divisional President in the development of company plans and initiatives, including change management.
  • Provide financial leadership in decision-making issues related to potential alliances, acquisitions, and/or mergers.


Continuous Improvement:



  • Enhance, develop, and implement processes and procedures that improve overall operational effectiveness and financial profitability.


  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization and identify opportunities for process redesign and process backlog resolution.


Financial Advisory and Contracts:



  • Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within and outside the financial discipline.
  • Serve as an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts the company may enter.


Leadership and Team Development:



  • Provide department leadership, including hiring, training, and developing finance team members.
  • Evaluate the team, plan for continual improvement, and provide growth opportunities.


Key Leadership Role:



  • Be a key leader on the TriMark divisional management team.
  • Participate in meetings with the Executive Leadership Team by articulating financial results with knowledge and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • 12-15 years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience with demonstrated career progression.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of products with Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Previous experience in a divisional role within an organization is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Team management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
