POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has a future opportunity for anRange Lead Supervisor - Training Support Servicesfor the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) or "the Facility" . FLETC is host to approximately 88 participating agencies/bureaus and responsible for providing certain core instructional law enforcement programs as well as a variety of support services. FLETC has on-facility housing for approximately 1800 students and occasionally houses additional students off facility in local motel/hotels. The Facility and participating agencies have a staff of approximately 500. Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC will be responsible for Project Management, Quality Control, Equipment and Uniform Issue, Recreational Support, Audio Visual, Educational Aide Support, and Role Players.

Driver Training Range Lead/Supervisormanages a full-time range staff providing training support for all classes in session. Range staff must maintain storage areas for all firearms related equipment and supplies in an organized, orderly, and neat manner and issue, collect, transport, and secure all training weapons (including storage of personal weapons and NLTA), ammunition and other supplies used in support of firearms training in a safe and secure operating environment and in accordance with all FLETC Directives, SOPs, and Processes (Directives).

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.



  • Prepare clear, concise work orders explaining required vehicle repairs.
  • Perform operator maintenance and conduct safety inspections of training vehicles and assist the auto shop in getting vehicles on-line for training, test-drive training vehicles, and evaluate repairs made to them to ensure proper and completeness.
  • Able to perform range/vehicle set up, range clean up, and other noted support services.


Payrate: $26.08 to $28.93 Hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years of experience in automobile repairs, a valid operator's license in the State of New Mexico and a valid driver's license and be certified to operate forklifts with a 6-ton capacity, tow trucks with a vehicle in tow, and all-terrain vehicles.
  • Able to complete government-provided training and perform Hazardous Waste Satellite Accumulation Area and Universal Hazardous Waste management responsibilities in accordance with the FLETC-OAO Hazardous Waste Management Plan.
