*Previous experience with aviation life sustainment, to include crew oxygen masks, highly desirable. **Pay consideration for this position will be based on experience, education, and skill. Personnel performing maintenance functions are responsible for performing maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturer's instructions for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
Aircraft Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Ensure thorough familiarity with the inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools and equipment used within their area of responsibility.
- Properly record all work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
- Perform maintenance functions as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure all maintenance performed is in accordance with technical publications, airworthiness directives and any other applicable publications.
- Provide requested support for administrative and Quality Management System purposes.
- Must perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management

- Provide data for administrative and Quality Management System support

Safety Management:
- Promote, execute, and adhere to the company's safety program
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections
- Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself or endanger the wellbeing of others
- Cooperate with Safety personnel, supervisors, and managers to ensure proper procedures are carried out according to the Company's Safety policies.

Education |
- High school diploma or GED required.
|
Experience |
- One (1) year experience working in a maintenance, test, and repair environment.
|
License, Cert or Registration |
- Current drivers' license, proof of U.S. citizenship or proof of authorization to work in the US and the ability to satisfy a background investigation to obtain a security clearance.
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license desired.

Special knowledge, skills, & abilities |
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions as required in a repair station setting.
- Must be familiar with common hand tools.
- Must possess an excellent command of the English language with ability to communicate verbally and in writing. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively before employees of the organization.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- In accordance with FAA Part 121 regulations, this position requires the employee to participate in a Department of Transportation (DOT) approved drug-testing program. The testing will be conducted by a drug-testing laboratory that is certified by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), under the National Laboratory Certification Program.
