Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance & Reliability, you will be manage the refinery's reliability function. As part of your specific responsibilities, in the following areas, you will:
- Lead, develop and execute the refinery's Reliability Strategy to include development of tactics to close gaps in reliability performance.
- Support achievement of reliability improvements through leadership for people, processes and tools contributing to reliable refinery operations.
- Coordinates operational, technical, mechanical and electrical engineering functions supporting continuous reliable refinery performance.
- Manages reliability-associated activities to drive and support operational excellence such as proactive and preventive maintenance programs, field support and mentoring of operations and maintenance personnel.
- Manages refinery's reliability engineering function encompassing equipment surveillance, troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, project support and equipment modifications.
- Supervises reliability engineering studies including bad actors and repeat failures. Oversees reporting and analysis of reliability metrics to identify trends in equipment reliability.
- Leads department and implementation of action plans for continuous improvement.
- Participates in reliability or equipment-related incident investigations.
- Ensures compliance with established engineering standards and industry codes.
The Qualifications To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. To be a good fit for the Reliability Superintendent opportunity, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or chemical engineering required.
- 10+ years reliability engineering experience in the petrochemical industry required.
- Must possess a valid US Driver's License with acceptable Driver's Abstract

Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $125,428 - $170,000 per year plus non-discretionary bonus.
