Laboratory Tech

Seeking a motivated Laboratory Tech to join our team. Responsible for the testing of the product at different stages of the production process. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Laboratory Supervisor.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Schedule:2/2/3: 12-hour night shift (7:00pm - 7:30am)
  • Starting hourly pay of $21based on knowledge and demonstrated skill

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Package/Product Quality Testing: Complete destructive and non - destructive packaging evaluations during production at specific frequencies and effective documentation for each evaluation.
  • Quality hold disposition/investigation and tracking.
  • Laboratory Instrumentation and Equipment: Calibration testing and documentation for all lab instruments and daily, weekly, monthly care for all instruments and equipment.
  • Train in the HACCP program to identify critical steps and other instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.
  • Enter data in SAP.
  • Able to use basic features of Microsoft Excel, including data entry and formulas.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.

SKILLS:

  • Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift, kneel, bend over, squat, stoop and carry 25 lbs.
  • Have basic computer, math and mechanical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, neatness and follow through.
