Overview LMI is seeking a cloud engineer to perform information technology related requirements as part of an integrated team supporting for the Department of Defense, United States Transportation Command. The position requires proficiency in AWS services with a focus on CDK, Typescript, and JavaScript. Work will be performed at Scott AFB, IL and in the vicinity of O'Fallon, IL. Responsibilities The Cloud engineer will be responsible to provide support via: * Design, Develop, and maintain scalable applications using AWS services with a focus on CDK, Typescript, and JavaScript * Utilize GitLab to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automation and streamlined * Work independently to optimize applications are secure, performant, and scalable * Collaborate with client teams with clear communications and technical expertise * Ensure compliance with security best practices in AWS environments, with a focus on FIPS * Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) * Provide direct and independent support to clients * Maintain and manage source control with GitLab, with best practices for collaborative development Qualifications Requirements:
Experience will determine roll on task. Cloud Engineer Level 2 requires 2+ years of related professional experience. Level 3 requires 3+ years of related experience.
