Job DescriptionSmith College's Schacht Center for Health and Wellness is seeking an experienced and compassionate Per Diem Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team temporarily, covering 20-24 hours per week during a leave of absence. There may be an opportunity for additional hours as needed once the leave of absence concludes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the health and wellness of our students in a dynamic, inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care (75%)
Maintain timely clinical records. (15%)
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of the Schacht Center or Director of Medical Operations (10%)
Requirements: Licenses/Certifications: Active RN and APRN (FNP-C) licenses in Massachusetts, along with a Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration, DEA registration, and current CPR/BLS certification. Preferred Experience: Background working with young adults or college populations, with an understanding of developmental and mental health concerns. Skills: Ability to work autonomously within the NP scope, while effectively collaborating with a team. Commitment to fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment.
