Job Description
ECU Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness is currently seeking several Adventure Leadership Assistants.

Join our dedicated Campus Recreation and Wellness ( CRW) team as an Adventure Leadership Attendant! This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to help impact participants through outdoor recreation activities. While working at our Adventure Center, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of the campus community through outdoor and adventure-based activities. CRW is committed to creating an environment of belonging and well-being and supports the Division of Student Affairs' commitment to purposeful well-being.
Responsibilities:
* Operate the Adventure Center and Rock Climbing Wall
* Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at our climbing wall including belaying, supervision, and enforcement of climbing wall policies.
* Create a welcoming and safe environment while providing exemplary customer service.
* Assist participants and trip staff with equipment selection and rentals.
* Load watercraft onto vehicles for participant and program use.
* Offer guidance and resources for outdoor recreation activities to participants.
* Be attentive, attend all trainings, and perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Qualifications:
* Experience in outdoor activities or adventure programming preferred.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds.
* Ability to obtain a belay certification through the Adventure Leadership Program.
* First Aid/ CPR/ AED Certification (preferred)
